B-Size, C-Size or D-Size RAM Mounts. Which one do I need?
Virtually all popular mounts require either a B-Size (1"), C-Size (1.5"), or D-Size (2.25") ball-and-socket solution. Or in some cases, A Size or E Size.
Each ball size has a different weight capacity.

Generally, the following tends to apply:
B-Size (1") Mounts: for Phone, GPS, GoPro and Tablets (small - medium sized)
C-Size (1.5") Mounts: for Laptops, larger Tablets and Fishfinders
D-Size (2.25") Mounts: for heavier Fishfinders and more
